Somatic Clay Therapy
Let's Clay Together!
Welcome. I’m a somatic clay therapist offering an embodied and psychodynamic way of working with clay. My approach can be particularly helpful for those who feel stuck in old patterns and have found that talk therapy alone is limited in creating change.
In-person sessions are held at my quiet studio in Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs. Online sessions are available via Zoom for those who can source their own clay and set up a suitable workspace.

About
My Way to Clay
Before finding my way to clay, I spent several years in academia, completing a PhD in Psychology and teaching at university. I began working with clay as a hobby, a way to soothe my overactive mind. Over time, what began as a personal mindfulness practice evolved into a professional calling. I founded Wheelfulness Pottery and later trained in Clay Field therapy, deepening my work with the therapeutic potential of clay. I became fascinated by how clay lends itself to nonverbal expression and engages parts of us that words cannot always reach. This has led me to develop Clayfulness, a somatic-psychodynamic approach that combines intuitive sculpting with symbolic exploration.
I bring a rich and integrative approach to claywork, drawing on my training in psychology, art therapy, and various somatic modalities.
